The run, bike and triathlon season in the Rockies is ready to kick in to gear. And to help you get ready and motivated is the 5430 Sports/Bicycle Village Multisport Expo on April 26.

The full-day expo, which will be held under a huge tent outside of Bicycle Village’s Westminster store at 9170 Wadsworth Parkway, will feature over 30 different exhibitors ranging from local sports stores to bike and gear companies to coaches. Demo the latest bikes from Trek, Specialized, Guru and Bianchi. Check out the latest clothes from Zoot, Pearl Izumi, Descente and Sugoi. Sign up for a fun tri-cycle race. Test your wattage on a PowerTap machine. Enjoy a fun fashion show.

Sit in on an array of great presentations and discussions including:

11 a.m.: Cycling for Triathlon Performance by Neal Henderson, Sport Science Manager at Boulder Center for Sports Medicine and triathlon coach.

Noon: A panel with leading triathlon coaches who will share their training insights and be available for a Q&A session.

1 p.m.: Nutrition for the multisport athlete by Bob Seebohar, Sport Dietician at the U.S. Olympic Training Center.

2 p.m.: Talk by Gordon Haller, the very first Hawaii Ironman Champion (1978).

3 p.m.: Training with Power by a CycleOps rep.

It’ll be a fun and informative day for any and all athletes looking to get ready for the season. Be sure to stick around for prize drawings every 30 minutes. The expo will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For a complete schedule of events, log on to www.bicyclevillage.com.
