The Runners Roost in Lakewood will be the hub for mothers, June 9 from 7 to 9 p.m.  Presented by a mother, the event is to empower mothers to embrace fitness and wellness.  Women will also receive refreshments and a 20 percent discount storewide.

Lisa Welch, who besides being a mother of two is the co-founder of the clothing line BornFit, will present Nine Tips for Achieving Any Goal.

For Welch, who was a full-time mother before she co-founded BornFit with Julie Hill, taking risks and achieving optimum health go hand-in-hand.

“I love to challenge moms to seek a new adventure and re-energize them to believe that anything is possible,” she said.

Her company is designed specifically for energetic mothers to accentuate their beauty “before, during, and after baby.”
