The Next Level
The ups and downs of taking your sport to the next level. For me, it's the up-side downs of yoga.

Everyone needs a good
butt-kickin’ workout in their weekly regimen. Look no further then Genesis
Fitness Boot Camps.
Genesis Fitness now has three locations in Denver: Capitol Hill, Denver Tech Center and its newest location in the LoDo/Highlands neighborhood at 15th and Platte. Genesis offers several types of boot camps including a typical Performance Camp along with a Low Impact Camp, Power Level Camp and Level 10 Camp.
The “typical” class lasts one hour and 15 minutes. Genesis instructors make sure each of your workouts is unique. The music is always pumping to keep you going and one instructor, Ronnie, likes to add in a bit of karaoke flair to keep you smiling in between your workout groans. The Performance Camp has six stations, each with a different exercise for one minute. Exercises are designed to increase your core strength, balance, agility and cardiovascular endurance—picture a mix of plyometrics, sprints, weight lifting and jumps. Don’t get caught resting, though. If you do, Ronnie will put you in detention where you’ll do “seal pup” exercises—pulling your body on the ground with your hands/upper body while your feet drag in a Frisbee-type device.
Ronnie breaks up the station circuit with runs around the block so your class is always different and never boring. Genesis offers five- and 10-pack packages as well as drop-in classes. If you’re looking to break from your normal routine and get your butt kicked just a bit, check a class out. For more info, call 303-837-1234 or vist www.genesisfitnesscamps.com.
